Our Mission

Paws and Hooves Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of abused and abandoned animals.

Our mission is to provide cares hundreds of homeless dogs, cats and others while they await their new adoptive homes. No animal is ever euthanized because it is unwanted or because of the inconvenience of care.

We also provide supportive services to pet owners and pets in times of extreme hardship, with the goal of keeping the human-animal bond intact; pet-assisted therapy; humane education; and spay-neuter surgeries, believing that prevention is the key to controlling pet overpopulation.

Donations to Paws and Hooves Animal Rescue, Inc. are tax-deductible.

Adopting is one of the best things you can do.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog (or cat) at home. You’re also reducing the demand for breeders and saving thousands from euthanasia in the shelters and on the streets.

We're ready to step up whenever they need us. Every year, we rescue thousands of animals from puppy mills, animal fighting operations, disasters and other large-scale situations of cruelty and neglect.

David

David was brought to us by a sheriff from New Jersey. A good Samaritan had reached out for help when they heard a dog crying from the storm drain.

Salt of the earth. A David’s heart. Altruistic.

All things good bundled in 112lbs of fluff.

I’m so lucky to know him and I’m sure everyone that has met him feels the same.

We love you Crow. Co-sea-co, crowsie 🤍

Finch

Finch has been in our care for one year. Looking into golden / weimaraner mixes they look just like Finch! I wasn’t expecting this at all but that’s the fun of wisdompanel . I did guess staffie 🤭 . Just wanted to share the fun news with you . Patrons knew.

I’d love nothing more than to have his wellness completely covered which is estimated to be 500 - we do the full work up. Bloodwork , heartworm test , distemper rabies and Lepto. We also leave with preventatives.

We are really happy to helped the Finch and getting proper care on us.

Blueberry

Blueberry, Fig, Geode all got their core vaccines. Blue took it the best I think , G was hissy, and Fig wanted to climb up me lol.

Rhea is going to start an arthritis regime.

Meloxicam and Adequan

Stella didn’t even notice her distemper and Lepto being given. Food motivated gal.

Indigos horn recheck went well, we have one more softer spot to keep protected but she’s on her way to having this past her.

Thankful , so thankful for onsite farm calls. It would take me so much time and so many different trips if I had to take everyone out of the sanctuary 😬

Raymond

Sweet Baby Ray is only 4 month old so he is not ready for adoption yet but will be at 5 months old. You can pre-adopt this little angel. Raymond was found on the curb all alone, starving and covered in fleas!

He is doing So well in our care and is such a sweet gentle little boy! Will be vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Sooo hypothetically, if you saw me in the woods, would you give me a snackie snack? If so what would it be?

Orphan Lamb

3.5 years ago she showed me and people around the world that mothers love their babies the same as humans do and I might argue even more so.

Cat & Sansa have been bonded since day one. When I was told about an “orphan lamb” , the farmer handed me Sansa by her front leg and fierce Catelyn left the flock to protect her baby and cried out.

I still see it in her eyes how much she loves her daughter from that day on. There was no way I wouldn’t take mom too.

Keep families together. 🤍

Brothers for life

I was going to attempt to take them to a free microchip clinic a town over was having but they looked like this in the morning because they had fun. Haha.

We passed. In the mean time they do have tractive .

We will have our vets do it and just eat the cost to cut out the high potential of judgment and questions — we will use our vets that understand our mission and know that these boys are farm pups.

There are times where it can be a learning opportunity and further advocacy when questions are asked but I guess in winter energy conservation is everything and I’m just trying to survive and have them thrive
